Dear Parents, Caregivers, and Charter School Teachers,

 

The Staff at The Devine Schoolhouse is excited to announce that we are once again offering in-person classes.  We cannot wait to see your students back in the classroom!  

 

First, we would like to share with you that, because of some exciting changes at this time in Mrs. Devine’s life, she has stepped down as administrator of The Devine Schoolhouse. She is, however, still an integral part of our team and is still providing amazing classes, as only she can. I am excited and humbled that she has asked me to step into the role and am prepared to help meet your needs and the needs of your students in a way that will make her proud. 

 

We would also like to share with you that we have found a new location!  We are so thankful to the Berean Fellowship for allowing us to use their facility.  However, the current restriction in place by the County of Los Angeles Public Health office makes it difficult to utilize most of their classrooms because of their small size.  

 

After searching for a suitable space we are excited to announce that we will now be holding in-person classes at Resurrection Lutheran Church located at 42217 55th St West, Lancaster, CA 93536. They are located near George Lane Park on the corner of 55th St W and L-12.

 

We realize that for many of you the school year is in full swing.  We hope that we can still provide the support your family needs.  Session 1 will begin the week of October 19th and will finish on December 16th with a week off for Thanksgiving Break.  We also have 1-1, small group and virtual tutoring available if that works better for your families at this time.

 

We are proud to continue working with Blue Ridge Academy, Compass and Sky Mountain Charter Schools. We have also recently been added as an approved vendor for iLead. Independent homeschooled students are also encouraged to attend and parents will be invoiced directly.

 

We are required to follow the County of Los Angeles Public Health protocols.  We have our current Covid-19 protocols on the website and will continue to update it as changes are made.  Please reach out if you have any questions regarding these policies.
